Another day on a cruise ship with no immediate destination, he said to himself before his first cruise, seemed silly or even boring. Now, a grizzled cruise veteran — and doesn’t that sound odd and incongruous? — I admit I look forward to them most of all. I look forward to the sea days the most. Today was one.
