She’s very vocal. The Yankee says that’s because of the Siamese in her. She makes different sounds for different reasons and different demands. Often, it is obvious. We are trained.
Often it is obvious we are trained, too.
And so I wonder what it is that she is trying to tell us. Or what she is thinking. I’m not anthropomorphizing here, I know they are cat thoughts, but I also know this means something:

Yeah, these things I’m sitting on are yours. So what?
Went to a gym meet tonight. On our way out they had one of those cutout photo stands. The Yankee decided to re-live her gymnastics days.

The motto that the Mars people and the M&Ms sloganeers gave us that line — it was originally a pitch to the U.S. Army — in 1954. So even though you don’t hear it every day anymore, its been in our minds all of our lives.
You can’t hardly see an M&M without thinking about that line.
