Today someone built up some bike racks in the sub-basement.
You can literally ride in off the street, up a sidewalk ramp and then walk your bicycle through three doors to an indoor, climate controlled storage room. A camera will be going up at the door. There will eventually be a digital lock on the door. They’ve put some thought into this.
Not pictured: My bicycle. I need a chain, I suppose. Until then, I’ll just stow it in my office after my four-mile ride in.
We got a new chair over the weekend. Got it just for the cat, apparently:
She won’t get up so that anyone else can try it.

Today I’m hanging out in the new control room. So many lights and buttons and switches. You can fly to Mars on this console:
That’s a state-of-the-art Grass Valley switcher. This studio is full of high-end equipment. Full of it. And from the new to the old. In storage I found a 1970s video projector:
I wonder when that was used last.
Allie and I spent part of the weekend watching the bike races:
But later she found a cable on the ground and curled up inside of it:
So now I have to leave circles everywhere, apparently.
Also, we hung out with The Mayor and her parents for a dinner party:
And I saw this at the office this morning. No idea, yet, what it is. Any guesses?
Probably some sort of drying air circulator or something like that. But I like the handles. Has a very Sean Connery-era James Bond feel to it.

We went to the next town over for a bit of adventuring this weekend. On the way back we stopped for a quick snack. I saw this flier. Some people should just try harder:
