Weary is a good word. And so we spent the afternoon at the Parc de Mariemont is a former royal estate and hunting park created in the 16th century. The royal home is long gone, but today it is a public park and on the grounds there is a museum, Musée royal de Mariemont. There are also ducks and geese.
And this one charged me. What do you do when a goose gets aggressive?
I chose to stand still. He got close and then got bored.

Here’s a bell just sitting in the park. No signs, but the slab notes the dates 1698 and 1896. So one presumes it was in action for 200 years.
