For three days in a row the air around us has given us hints of spring.

That’s called a winning streak.
Maybe in three or four more weeks we’ll be able to confidently say the condition has stuck.

One day, when the world slows down and I don’t have things to do or places to be, I’m going to do a study of leaves.
I’m going to pick a branch and mark it, somehow.
And then I’m going to take a picture of it each day, from buds until leaf drop. I’m going to do a study of a leaf.
That’s my plan.
After work, it was 68 degrees, and I went for a run. It was an easy 10K, and my longest run of the last two weeks. I went slow because it was so warm. And rounding one corner:
Tonight, we did a thing:
We're watching an old #movie and just started a new Twitter account about it old movies. Join us, won't you? Right now it's That Thing You Do on @IveSeenThisOne. pic.twitter.com/n9GOdPLeuM

I love that movie and never could figure out why everyone in the band didn’t become a big star — except T. B. Player. That one was obvious.
How did Steve Zahn manage to not have a huge run after stealing every scene in this movie? pic.twitter.com/MYYZift32e

There is going to be some good stuff in that account when we get it off the ground. You can just tell when you’re sitting on, and not following through with, a good idea.
Three characters need an epilogues. The early fan geek, Uncle Chris Isaak and Bos Vic Koss, the Pittsburgh emcee.
Now obviously the Uncle Chris Isaak is a terrific ladies man. And Vic Koss becomes an early presenter in Hunger Games. I mean look at this guy. pic.twitter.com/dpizbPgV0w

What movies should we watch next for this? And should it only count if you watch the whole movie? Or could you just jump in midway through, say … Shawshank … and start chiming in about the rock hammer?
Hey, it’s spring break. These are the more-weighty-than-usual thoughts I come up with over spring break.
This came together better than I thought it would at mumble-mumble thirty this morning.
On the news, they’re doing spring break stories:
Outside, we’re waiting for more snow.
This, for the record, is about two weeks after that nonsense should have stopped.
Had lunch here on a gift card thanks to the kindness of a colleague.
I had the chance to use a little Spanish and a few of the phrases I remember from German and Italian as well, and all for no particular reason. Top that, rest of the day.
The rest of the day could not top that. It tried, of course. It was a game effort, but really.
I ran a 10K this evening. It was chilly, sure, but not so cold that I could stay inside:
Probably I was just after this:

Not that I can talk about mileage …
The game is about to wrap up, mercifully, but @alai2016 is the real winner with that fundraising effort. Congratulations, sir.
