Kenny works in The Media School at Indiana University.

As a multi-award-winning journalist, he has worked around the southeast in Montgomery, Birmingham and Little Rock and on two regional networks and on ABC News. He has filed reports in most major American broadcast markets. Major outlets such as the Associated Press and Westwood One newswires, ESPN, Smithsonian Magazine and more have published his print work and photography.

He was a soccer player. He is a SCUBA diver and an occasional traveler. He has a cowlick and a pair of shoes for most any occasion. He’s also looking for more hobbies.

In his free time Kenny rides a bicycle. He’s raced in six states and three countries. He also runs slowly and swims even slower. You might also find him doing a little woodworking in the garage or maybe even putting a puzzle together. Renaissance man, he is. He is also married to Dr. Lauren Reichart Smith. They have many wonderful adventures.
