Farmer John had been waiting for his ship to come in for a long time. He'd been holding onto that farmland, holding off progress from the shipping industry, for years.

It was prime land. Things could get to him so quickly, fertilizer, seed, replacement parts and dreams.

And wouldn't you know it, when his ship finally did come in, that shiny new DC-3 caught his eye.
