Electro-Clear, from what I can tell, is that wire that runs through the rear window and keeps it from fogging up. Who knew that had a name? Who didn't imagine that wouldn't go into every pane of glass, everywhere?

But self washing headlights? Never a prized feature. Physics took care of that, even in the Sixties.

With springs that were chosen by a computer! You know, back when that was still a marvel, before it was taken for granted, or seen as a tongue-in-cheek cautionary tale.
