Friends are here. Triple-digit temperatures are &#8230; close. Triple-digit heat indexes &#8230; are close. We sat outside and in the sun and shade and it was 94 degrees. The company was good:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/aug14\/aug44.jpg\" alt=\"tailgate\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>As we were walking up the ramps to the upper deck, we had a great view of fans coming in to the stadium:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/aug14\/aug45.jpg\" alt=\"fans\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>We could also see the storm that delayed the game coming in:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/aug14\/aug46.jpg\" alt=\"weather\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Twitter&#8217;s new analytics tell me that almost 20,000 people saw that picture tonight. At least four different meteorologists retweeted it. But I didn&#8217;t get any lightning shots. <\/p>\n<p>I did get a clear view of the rain shafts, though:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/aug14\/aug47.jpg\" alt=\"weather\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Auburn won <a TARGET=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.auburntigers.com\/sports\/m-footbl\/recaps\/083014aab.html\">45-21<\/a>.
