We didn&#8217;t linger in the towns, because towns are towns. But we did meet a local who lived in Lagrange, Georgia for a year and visited Auburn to play golf. (We&#8217;ve also had a War Eagle moment at a beach, when the mother of an Auburn student stopped by. Also, we taught the guy fetching cabs about dragging out that long r in &#8220;Warrrrrrr,&#8221; too.)<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, amid the rocks and between the waves:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june21.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june22.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june23.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>We found a new favorite beach, quiet and empty. So my lovely wife wrote her name down. Funny how you find yourself in one of those places you&#8217;d like to stay, for some time, really, and you like it so much that you want to note your presence, but you&#8217;re left with doing it in the most ephemeral medium possible.  <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june24.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>More island scenes:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june25.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june26.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june27.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june28.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june29.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Funny how, when you got off the main road and through the one big intersection we negotiated, we were in a perfectly peaceful tropical paradise. We were having such a fine time of it that we got turned around and these guys had to put us back on track.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/june14\/june30.jpg\" alt=\"Bermuda\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>We made it back to the ship just in time for the departure. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we rented scooters: And we explored some other parts of Bermuda we haven&#8217;t seen before.
