On with the ceremonies, then. <\/p>\n<p>This is the pre-show stage design we saw at the <a TARGET=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxtheatre.org\/\">Fox Theater<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/feb14\/feb08.jpg\" alt=\"Fox\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The Fox, which seats just under 5,000, opened at the beginning of the Great Depression as a home for the local Shriners. The design borrows heavily from Moorish and Egyptian influences. (King Tut&#8217;s tomb having been discovered just a few years before they started construction, there was an Egyptian fever.)<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/feb14\/feb09.jpg\" alt=\"Fox\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s good news: Jim &#8216;n&#8217; Nicks has opened a store near us.
