{"id":573883853,"date":"2012-09-09T15:00:10","date_gmt":"2012-09-09T20:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/wordpress\/?p=573883853"},"modified":"2012-09-10T15:00:19","modified_gmt":"2012-09-10T20:00:19","slug":"catching-up-78","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/wordpress\/blog\/2012\/09\/09\/catching-up-78\/","title":{"rendered":"Catching up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The weekly &#8220;Photos are content too!&#8221; post full of interesting or pretty or marginal things that didn&#8217;t land elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>This is Brooks Hall on the Samford University campus, which is an altogether lovely place:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/sept12\/sept09.jpg\" alt=\"Brooks\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>It does not seem like it should be pumpkin or squash season:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/sept12\/sept10.jpg\" alt=\"Brooks\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>They agree:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/sept12\/sept11.jpg\" alt=\"Brooks\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>All of this fruit comes from the Crape Myrtle Cafe in Auburn. Delicious stuff. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/sept12\/sept12.jpg\" alt=\"Brooks\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The newest strip mall setting close to home. It is anchored by a successful CVS and includes a children&#8217;s boutique store, a &#8220;Haircut for men who need stuffed animal heads and pool tables&#8221; barber and a calorie dispensary, I mean cupcake store. In between them all is this place, which can&#8217;t land a tenant, and so has grass growing on the inside.  <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/sept12\/sept13.jpg\" alt=\"Brooks\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Allie!
