And if that sounds like a complaint, it is not. Looking ahead, I&#8217;ll be on campus every day next week. That&#8217;s not a complaint, either. I&#8217;ll still have to find to do a full week&#8217;s worth of work away from campus, as well. It&#8217;s going to be a busy one. <\/p>\n<p>I <em>think<\/em> I&#8217;ll take the week off from the site, just to get in all of the grading and the writing and the other stuff I&#8217;ll be doing just to keep my nose above water. <\/p>\n<p>So, sadly, this post will be the placeholder for the next week. <\/p>\n<p>Look! Here&#8217;s a shot from today&#8217;s 20-mile ride. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/feb25\/graphic03.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Just another month or two of riding in the basement. I&#8217;m over riding in the basement. <\/p>\n<p>At lunchtime today, I heard them. And then the sky darkened. The light literally, actually, dimmed. And when I got outside &#8230; <\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;padding-bottom:56.25%;height:0;overflow:hidden;\">\n  <iframe src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player.html?video=x9dxp6c\"\n    style=\"width:100%; height:100%; position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; overflow:hidden; border:none;\"\n    allowfullscreen\n    title=\"Dailymotion Video Player\"\n    allow=\"web-share\"><br \/>\n  <\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They flew from the fields to the southwest, over the house, across the road, did a giant loop over Joe The Elder&#8217;s place, and then came back for more. <\/p>\n<p>They come and they go, and then they don&#8217;t come back the rest of the day. The ideal way to enjoy a noisy, noisy air show. <\/p>\n<p>Catch you on the flip side.
