Another day, more successes for talented, hard working young people.<\/p>\n<p>Other students are doing other great work, too. They never stop around here anymore, to their great credit. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking of sports &#8230; Let&#8217;s go diving again!<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/blog\/banners\/bannerscuba.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Look at this beautiful purple vase. Shame about that damage on the front. I hope that wasn&#8217;t from a diver.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel11.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I believe that&#8217;s a blackcap basslet (<em>Gramma melacara<\/em>) hanging out among the coral.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel12.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Look at this beautiful stack of coral and sponges. What a lovely corner of the ocean.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel13.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>More miniature purple vase coral.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel14.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>This is some sort of spotted boxfish, but I&#8217;m having a difficult time pinning it down.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel15.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Behold! My blurry brain coral!<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel16.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s time for a buddy check. She&#8217;s doing great. (She&#8217;s an excellent diver.)<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel17.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Enjoy this lovely specimen of the yellow tube sponge (<em>Aplysina fistularis<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel18.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I did not have anything to offer as a sizing reference, but this is a big vase coral.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel19.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And here I am, on my ascent from this particular dive. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/mar22\/cozumel20.jpg\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Settle in, we&#8217;ve got days of photos to work through.
