We&#8217;ll be here for a few days. Here are some pictures from the afternoon&#8217;s four-hour drive.<\/p>\n<p>Allie, The Black Cat, likes Whataburger:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may16\/may47.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>No surprise there. <\/p>\n<p>Mexico was enchanted by the giant ship in the bottle, which was the huge crab&#8217;s plan. The country was never the same again:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may16\/may48.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Because the rule is that when you drive within 20 miles of a Trader Joe&#8217;s you take a side trip to Trader Joe&#8217;s. I don&#8217;t know why that&#8217;s the rule, but that&#8217;s the rule. <\/p>\n<p>We had dinner tonight at a Mongolian stir-themed place called Genghis Grill:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may16\/may49.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I fit right in. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re at my folks.
