{"id":573888137,"date":"2015-05-25T23:15:16","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T04:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/wordpress\/?p=573888137"},"modified":"2015-06-28T23:31:43","modified_gmt":"2015-06-29T04:31:43","slug":"london-tower-tower-bridge-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/wordpress\/blog\/2015\/05\/25\/london-tower-tower-bridge-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"London Tower, Tower Bridge and more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Don&#8217;t know about you, but this is the first time I&#8217;ve ever been on an empty subway train:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may179.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Hanging out with the Beefeater at the Tower of London:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may180.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The last time we were here we did not see the armor collection, so we checked out what some of the kings wore once upon a time. Here are a few interesting examples of what the warriors and jousters and horses wore:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may181.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may182.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may183.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may184.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may185.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>That last one belonged to a prince.<\/p>\n<p>We also went into the Tower Bridge. Didn&#8217;t know you could do that. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennysmith.org\/photo\/may15\/may186.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Those two crosspieces over the top are walking bridges. Midway through there are two wide glass panes that you can peer down onto the bridge and the water below.
