We’re taking pictures at the Parthenon when one of these gentleman starts staring at me. Hard. It sinks in, he comes over and we chat. All four still live in Auburn. We’re moving back in just a few weeks, we say. Later that afternoon we met a young man who grew up in Birmingham as an Auburn fan. Look, he says, pulling out his wallet, showing off the AU logo.
