Splash Into Spring is an annual favorite. Gone are the days of cool and occasional cold and back are the endless warm days of spring, beautiful clouds, gorgeous sunsets and a neverending list of outdoor activities.

This young lady is enjoying a tub of Jell-O. I don't know why. The Glom notes that the University Program Council received international recognition for the Jell-O Splash which could mean anything from people mentioning it at The Hague, an address before the United Nations or one of the international students noticing the little tub existed.

This particular view is taken from the Foy Union patio. To the left of the margin is the entrance to the Foy Cafeteria. In the background you might see the copy shop, a game room and, later, a computer lab. Off to the right is another section of Foy (it is U-shaped right here) which includes the back door of campus radio station WEGL. Behind the photographer is Tichenor Hall, where the journalism, communication and geography programs are held.

I spent a lot of time in all of these places. Never could figure out the purpose of the little Jell-O tub.

Splash Into Spring, though, features sand sculpting, volleyball, a bike race, human bowling, twister, public speakers and crowd favorite Casino Night. The UPC puts a lot of effort into the week, and its always a big hit.
