Right about this time Auburn golf became a dominant program in the sport and Spratlin's performances helped moved plenty of balls evenly down the metaphorical fairway of life.

Ultimately Auburn's team made it to the NCAA Championships, finishing 16th. Auburn's Ian Steel was named SEC Player of the Year with a team record 16 sub-par finishes.
