Kim Evans coaches Katie Gallina and the rest of the women's golf team. This was Evans' second year as the coach at Auburn. She was golfer on the Plains from 1978-1981 and had returned for great things.

I always enjoyed talking Evans because she was a good interview, was confident about the team and knew her golf. Unfortunately none of that ever rubbed off on me.

She's now in the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, claims multiple tournament wins and five SEC championships. She's coached six top 10 teams and nine All-Americans. Why didn't any of her golf ability improve my game?

As this whole Glomerata project is really a brief glance at what does and doesn't change at Auburn I'll just say this: my golf game is little-improved.
