One of the newest programs on campus in the 1995 school year was women's soccer, which was just starting its third year on the Plains.

The sport was new enough for the Glomerata writers that they noted Noel Hydrick is "head butting" the ball here. She started in all 18 games for the Tigers. The year before Auburn finished second in the SEC, and this year placed just outside the money after a nice 12-7-1 season.

I spent more than a few evenings out watching this team play. I love women's soccer.
