Carrot Top highlighted Tigermania '95, the weeklong homecoming festivities.
The U.S. Army Field Band, big kid games on The Concourse, a picnic and an outdoor movie were part of the festivities.
Carrot Top was a return gig, making his second year in a row on the Plains, and he'd go on to make a third trip in a few more years. All of this was before he went crazy with the body building.
He's a cool guy though, very casual off stage, and he'd just like everyone to call him Scott, please. These days he's doing his show in Vegas, which is great, because he no longer has to lug his props around. This is probably why he decided to rip his body up anyway.
Anyway. Ken Mattingly spoke to students. The Ken Mattingly. The astronaut. He's an Auburn man.
There was also an event one day called 3-D Virtual Reality which has certainly aged poorly in name, and probably in execution as well.
