Not sure what they're studying with the dog there, but this was a time in the vet school's history when the only thing bigger than the research was the growth.

Veterinary medicine was booming and then, as now, there's no better place to be than at Auburn. Expansion was fast coming to the facilities, the Large Animal Clinic had just been remodeled. A teaching area, a microbiology facility and the animal receiving area had all been built in the year before this writing.

The program remains at the top of the field today, enjoying a strong emphasis from the University. The top-notch College of Agriculture (of which I'm an alumnus) and the Extension System often work in tandem to bring countless hours of expertise to any subject, improving the lives of pets and livestock throughout the region and the world.

That big control panel she's using has, no doubt, been replaced long ago. In my jokes only the chemistry program never replaces their equipment.
