For the record, there is not a men's gymnastics or gymnistics team at Auburn.

At any rate, the tumblers were off to a fine start in their young program, placing second in the state in their first year and claiming top honors in their second season.

The quality of the various apparatus have been upgraded across the sport, so it is always fun to watch a gymanst look back at the classic photographs of time gone by.

No matter the era, this is impressive: Jeanne Denoon had the high score in three events at the state meet this year. She also shared the high score with "another Auburnite" Nancy Schnieder.
