This was a big year for the ladies on Auburn's tennis courts.

Coach Nanellen Lane coached the ladies to a state championship title. Donna Jacobi won the state singles championship. Jacobi then teamed with Phoebee Allen to win the state doubles title.

It might be a bit difficult to see in this photo with the odd angle of the sun, but this skirt would go on to inspire set designers on The Price is Right.
