The baseball program is one of those parts of Auburn which has grown by leaps and bounds over the recent generations of students.
The team still plays in this location, but instead of an open field they now have one of the most intimate and cozy settings in all of baseball to call home. Chain link has been replaced by big green walls, the park is largely secluded from exterior views and there's no powerline threatening to whip onto the field of play.
By comparison the place where the 1976 team played looks like an average softball field. Yep, quite a bit has changed here.
