Comedian and human rights activist Dick Gregory came to Auburn for a three-hour lecture.

Satirical, sarcastic and thought-provoking, The Glomerata calls him when he "dubs the present generation of white youngesters as the 'new niggers'." He also encouraged his audience to wave the Constitution proudly.

Tom Horton, the producer of Jacques Cousteau's television show, spoke at Auburn with an ecological message. The creator of "Candid Camera", Allen Funt addressed the student body, urging them to keep the ability to laugh at themselves. He saw the wardrobe.

A JFK conspiracy theorist, Harvey Yazijian, who discussed the grassy knoll, the alleged second shooter and every other theory that have come to cloud the assassination and the Warren Commission. Later Yazijian would go on to write a book about the Cola wars.
