Ah, the library. One of the largest in the state, the Ralph B. Draughon Library is complemented by the architecture and vet libraries elsewhere on campus.

According to the text on this page the library was considered outdated at the time. From the looks of it some things have changed. There are computers now, of course. The tables and chairs are different, though I might have leaned on some of those bookshelves myself.

The library, the Glom notes, is what you make of it.

Between them all, Auburn's libraries currently boast over 2.7 million volumes, 2.6 million government documents, 2.5 million microforms and over 148,000 maps. The Libraries receive over 35,000 current periodicals and the RBD alone has a seating capacity of 2,500.

Happily it proves that more than just the football stadium can occupy one full block of campus.
