Adjusting to: Blind-daters soon become leary of "the perfect person for you."
George is a nice guy. Sally's a sweet girl, she's let me borrow her notes before. They've each said something the last few days about not having a date to any of the biggest parties. What if we set them up?
Didn't go well, though. Culd be her chin or, worse, her nose. George's cycloptic visage turned Sally off. He couldn't understand how a woman could have a mouth that wide, or why she'd wear a scarf in Auburn. She just didn't get why anyone would comb their hair out like that, or how he could like KC and the Sunshine Band.
The only thing they had in common was swearing in highlighter.
They'd date through the summer before ending it awkwardly the night before fall classes started.
