Streaking became a fad on college campuses in the 1970s. I have it on good authority -- a Trivial Pursuit card -- that the fad got its start at Auburn.

This particular flashing incident took place at something called Step Sing.

Apparently this event started from singing on the library steps, but grew into a big Greek contest inside the coliseum, where they all sing and dance.

I'm not sure that this event survived, because this is my first notice of it. The Glom laments that everyone should have been given a trophy, for they were all winners.

I hope the little guy on the top of the trophy was wearing plaid pants.
