Never heard of Parker's, it was long gone from Auburn before I arrived there. The clothing selection might suggest an explanation as to why that's the case.

Downtown Parkers could have set up shop in any of the handful of stores that always seem to move new tenants in and out. That they had two stores suggests there was some longevity to the brand.

The other location, Midway Plaza, has the look of a place that's been in decay since it opened. It wasn't always that way, of course, but the departure of Parker's might have started the inevitable decline.
