Ware Jewelers is advertising their Village Mall location here, but they've long since left that property. The store still exists, even in its original location.

Lamar Ware grew up in Auburn, played in the local high school band in the 1930s and started the store on College Street across from campus on a $5,000 investment in 1946.

He died in 2003, but the store remains in the family, and now boasts of four locations of fine jewelery throughout south Alabama.
