The Old South Parade, formerly brought to you by the Kappa Alpha fraterity. Because nothing says Old South like a bunch of girls dolled up and riding on the hood of your beat up Chevy.

The Old South Parade was ended at Auburn under heavy criticism just a few years before I arrived on campus. There were things like this, students dressed in calvary gear riding horses and a few other images that would be offensive in our modern era of sensitivities.

Things got out of hand, enough people complained and the Old South Parade was banished to where it belongs: In our past.

The girls always looked nice though, so that's the one real loss. But the girls always look nice, no parade necessary. They just don't always dress like this.
