The guy standing in the background on the right is recognizable, I've seen him in a few other photos in the book. Well, not the face, but rather the mustache.

Standing next to the governor is Auburn President Harry Philpott. If you look through the wheel's of Wallace's chair you can just make out the slacks Dr. Philpott is wearing.

Plaid? Even university presidents were susceptible?
