William Fairey, in particular, is important here, as it is his senior book that we've been scanning. A native of South Carolina, Mr. Fairey was majoring in veterinary medicine, was a member of Omega Tau Sigma and a junior member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
There are about a dozen Faireys listed in a quick search of his hometown. I should call them up to see if they can offer any further details.
Mr. Fairey's Glomerata has been a great trip through time, and the book has held up well considering it is now 54 years old. It has been a fascinating glimpse at my grandparent's generation, one I'd encourage you to undertake as well. You'll marvel at what you could learn about your differences and similarities, just don't laugh at the styles too much.
