Do you think the local consignment shops and bridal shops lobbied hard with the people that throw this party to make it bridal themed? You could make a killing off of these girls twice. And the florists! Don't forget about them. You know they wanted in on the action.

Please note that this young man is proudly showing off his sock suspenders for all the world to see. Maybe this would have been common on the night of this particular Beaux Arts Ball, but it looks even more silly now.
