They filled the pool to the rafters for synchronized swimming.

Of course the room was about four feet larger than the pool.

There's no sycnhronized swimming at Auburn now, nor during my time on the Plains. Not even a club team.

The swimming and diving programs, however, are absolutely dominating with a dozen national championships in the last decade on both the men's and women's sides.

All of that is done in top notch, state-of-the-art facilities too. And there's talk of some outdoor pool additions as well. Wherever this is, though, is a mystery. Certainly it isn't on campus these days.
