She was a junior from Texas -- the only Glomerata beauty from out-of-state in 1953 -- majoring in education.

And, aside from the unfortunate accident of having a dish rag fall on her head at the precise moment that this photograph was taken, is a beautiful young woman an Auburn man of any generation would be happy to see.

Note the placement of the hands: She'd like you to realize how small her waist is. Note the chopped off elbow: the Glomerata's didn't full appreciate the limitation of flatbed scanners in the early 21st Century as they sprawled these photographs across both pages, with the crease in the book always slicing through a forearm.

Shame about that rag on her head though.
