Which happily leads us here. This is Magnolia Street (now Magnolia Avenue), just off of College, which is the intersection that is home to the famous Toomer's Corner.

The white building on the left is Toomer's Drug Store. The small one in the middle is what is now Auburn Hardware. Further down the street those buildings have been rebuilt and house a camera shop, a few other merchants, a bank, restaurant and apartments.

This is likely the Wreck Tech parade, but it is impossible to tell by this photograph alone as the band marches toward campus.

The top left corner is yellowed out because the artists were placing one photo over another and coloring in the overlap in a very oddly pointless post-modern effort. Very hip cats, ya dig? The other picture was a crowd shot at a football game.
