Tichenor Hall, where I spent another big portion of my time.
Nothing much has changed, externally at least. While I was in school this was the home of journalism, communication, radio, television and film and geography.
At the time it housed the School of Science and Literature, the oldest school of the university. Now a great deal of the core curriculum has moved across the street to Haley Center.
There were days when I could have stayed in Tichenor for ever. They greatly outweighed the days when I couldn't get out fast enough.
Tichenor, to me, personifies the college experience. Long, wide corridors set east to west to take in beautiful sunsets. Wooden floors and wooden desks for not-so-wooden lectures. A wall of newspapers and every other wall covered with advertisements for this, that or the other thing.
