I took this class.

The hands-on technique has changed, but only slightly.

The guy who taught this class in the '90s was then-Dean Robert Voitle. Once upon a time I thought he was an Auburn graduate, and until just now I thought he could have been these students immediate peer, but he was eight when this picture was taken.

Poultry hasn't changed much since, but our care and their economic impact on the region has changed more than a little. The cost has stayed low. Dean Voitle had this statistic. To paraphrase: "In year so-and-so chicken cost this, and cars cost that. If they'd each increased at the same rate, cars would now cost about $250."

Seemed pretty laughable then too.
