Erosion remains a big problem. Most people think of kudzu when they think of cover crops. How could you not? The stuff is everywhere. By the 1950s it was covering a third of everywhere. Kudzu, one of those anti-erosion plants that is taking over the world, is not Auburn's fault. The Japanese, Philadelphia, Florida nurseries and the Soil Conservation Service ... It seems you can blame everyone but Auburn.

Not sure where this is. The first guess would be the Old Rotation, but it is too expansive in the background to be the home the oldest continuous cotton experiment in the world.

There are two crops these students are examining. Bonus points if you can name either one.

Favorite kudzu fact: One USDA, Forestry Service scientist who does his research at Auburn has dedicated his career to kudzu and has actually found a way to make it grow faster.
