This page also hints at another theater in town. Never heard of it, but it was a drive-in, so I'm safely protected from being mistaken in previous statements about the town having only two theaters.

Note the phone numbers. One ad in the book says "Phone 9." I wonder, as the numbers began to grow larger, if there anyone with the smaller numbers began to look down on the bigger numbers. That drive-in, for example, is inching close to 1000. One thousand phone numbers! What kind of town has a need for something that large? The whole place will just be going to waste when we have to remember four digits.

Cook Jewelry and the Pure are also gone. Most of these advertisers are. I counted seven names that I recognize. Not only has a lot changed on the campus since my grandparent's time, but in the town as well.
