In 1952 this building was the main library, just a half a block down the street from picturesque Samford Hall. Today it is used as the Office of Admissions, Student Aid and the Registrar.

Built in 1910, it is now named after Mary Martin, who served as Auburn's librarian from 1918 until 1949. Equally as important, Mary Martin was a champion of better library services throughout the state. The modern library, however, is named after Dr. Ralph B. Draughon, who was president of the university in 1952.
