Here's the Auburn wrestling team, coached by the legendary Arnold "Swede" Umbach.

Umbach is in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, having won 25 team trophies, while coaching 127 conference and four national winners.

The 1952 wrestling team was following up five consecutive Southeastern Amateur Athletic Union Championships. They dominated their season, despite their inexperience, going 8-1 and winning the Southeastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Championship.

After years of domination, the wrestling team was eventually shut down. There is currently no wrestling team on the Plains.
