Auburn hosted Kentucky for the first time that season. There was one senior and one junior on the Tigers' team, and UK brought the defending national champions for a visit. In keeping with the rah rah spirit of yearbooks, it would be recorded for posterity that Auburn gave the Wildcats all they wanted on that day. The final score was 88-48.

Note the architecture in that building. That's the old sports arena. Beautiful structure.

Auburn finished the regular season 14-11, before falling in the first round of the SEC Tournament.
