This the finish of the ODK Cake Race. A tradition started in 1927 to scout out talent for the track team, this is a 2.7 mile campus wide race. The first 25 finishers get home-baked cakes, whereupon they wonder why they ran the race for a cake.

They usually then wonder how that hill came to be in the middle of "The Plains."

After that they sometimes cramp up and pass out.

Fastest male gets a kiss from Miss Auburn. Fastes female gets smooched by a prominent Auburn man that varies from year to year.
