Marching bands everywhere agree: Spelling out three letters is twice as easy as spelling out six.

This has to be hosting Florida, based on the scoreboard picture on this page. Cliff Hare Stadium sat 21,5000 in 1951. When I was in school Jordan-Hare Stadium sat 85,612. Today the number is 87,451.

See that white building in the top right corner? It has long since been removed in the search for what the modern world really needs, more parking lots.

I haven't scanned that scoreboard photograph to include here, but second-thoughts have insisted I include it later. Look for that as we ultimately progress to the football section.
