There was a separate women's student government. In 1952 was this progressive or already quaintly outdated?

They were responsible for legislating the rules of "social conduct which are essential to the welfare of the co-education students." They also organized annual teas, social mixers and decorating the dining halls at Christmas.

There are some pretty ladies in that government, but Auburn has always had more than its share of overly attractive coeds. Some of these girls, though, look like they could be put into the student body of most any decade.

If you stare at them long enough some of them even look familiar.
