We had tanks!

Take that everybody else. We've got the M4 Sherman. This thing could cruise just under 40 mph, weighed 30 tonnes, carried almost 100 rounds for the main weapon and could generally raise chaos down the street in Lochapoka. They put students in these things, after all.

That's really the only reason for this photo here. College kids with a 75 mm weapon.

Ordinarily this would seem a poor idea, but the Army was two thirds of the way through the Korean War at the time. Some of these students, if they graduated soon, may have ended up in the fight, so this was clearly serious.
